We are a church for London, not just in London. This community group will be an opportunity to make a practical difference in the lives some of the most vulnerable people in our city. In partnership with the Chalk Farm Salvation Army Church, we will be serving as part of their rough sleeper outreach.
The team at the Salvation Army are inspirational. They have an incredible facility that provides a place to go for the local homeless community, with a hot meal, drink and showers.
Due to the timings set by the Salvation Army, please arrive before 6pm. We then get stuck in where needed, it could be serving food, making hot drinks, helping in the kitchen, doing dishes or managing the showers. The drop in closes at 8pm.
This group will allows us to get to know new people while making a real difference to people in London.
